Our day begins with your participation in a fictitious company that is in the business of "innovating" boring, me-too products and services. Through team effort, creative thought, perseverance, and the willingness to overcome internal challenges and use new skills and techniques, your team may be selected for the "Purple Cow Award" for "best" Innovation. You'll be asked to design product/service prototypes using some very sophisticated materials. But there's more to it than simply designing a remarkable product/service... your team will learn to use the EDGECRAFT process, look beyond the usual innovations, and practice thinking "cap" behaviors that help teams over innovation "hurdles".
Special Take-away: Compass Consulting Team's " Purple Cow Application Guide " that will summarize and highlight the Purple Cow process for future reference and recall. You'll be able to share your information with others and start to create a culture that embraces the "cow" philosophy and watch your business grow!

About the Presenter: Jane Andersen, CEO of Compass Consulting Team has over 20 years of Managing and Leading her own company, consulting with C-Level Executives throughout the Fortune 1000, and coaching/training thousands of employees across all industries. She has worked with some of the most prestigious learning and development companies in the world, i.e., Eagle's Flight, HRDQ, and AMA. She has held Executive positions in HR, Recruitment, Management Development and Sales with Allied Stores and Specialty Retailers Inc. She has designed and developed experiential training programs for a variety of corporations throughout the U.S. and is in the process of publishing her book on Remarkabalizing Customer Service. Purple Cow Innovation Workshop is her latest project and one she feels is needed for all businesses that want to grow, retain great talent, and attract the "right" customers. She resides in Chandler, AZ with her husband, Al, and two schnauzers, Wally and Sparky. She graduated from ASU with a degree in General Business and is a member of ASTD, NAWBO, AZODN, NCDA, and the AZ Technology Council.
